Standards requirements of GSO Technical Regulations of Low Voltage Electrical Equipment

To whom it may concern: 

According to GSO public standards list, standard IEC 60335-1: 2010+ AMD1: 2013+ AMD2: 2016 CSV is not valid, and standard IEC 60335-1: 2020 will take the place of it from now on.

For those products which bears the G-Mark while the certificate takes employment of standard IEC 60335-1: 2010+AMD1: 2013+ AMD2: 2016 CSV, please update test report and GCC certificate within three months, otherwise the certificate will be suspended.

For those products which is planning to apply for GCC ceretificate, please make sure the standard IEC 60335-1: 2020 will be used.

Please pay attention to the above information if you are planning to export or have already exported low voltage electrical equipment and appliances to gulf countries.
